The work mainly consists of episodes of a robot hero with 100,000 horsepower challenging evil in the setting of the 21st century where science technology has been dramatically developed. Besides, the work focuses on Astro's inner struggle since he has feelings and emotions as humans do, which is very special about Tezuka's works. (From “Ghost Manufacturing Machine” in 1957) 日本が生んだ最大の天才漫画家であり、膨大な作品を創作しつづけた。日本におけるアニメ制作の先陣でもあり、実験的な制作手法を含めて大きな功績を残している。戦中の経験から生涯のテーマである「生命の尊さ」を強く意識し、医学博士号をもつにまで至った。幅広い分野にわたる深い知識と洞察力に裏打ちされた数々の名作を通じて、エンタテイメントと同時に深いテーマを伝えたその作品が与えた影響は現在にいたるまで計り知れない。 Tezuka, the greatest manga artist and the pioneer of Japanese animations, created incredible number of manga works and left a legacy to his successors in many ways including experimental animation production methods. His war experience made him strongly aware of the importance of life, which became his life-long theme in his works, leading him to complete his MD degree before his debut as a manga artist. Backed by a wide range of knowledge and profound insight in various fields, Tezuka not only entertained people but also conveyed his deep messages through many of his great masterpieces, having left immeasurable impact to this day. (1928 ~ 1989) パーツごとに組立ててから。台紙の番号順にそれぞれ貼っていく。 まず1を組立てて台紙に貼る。 Assemble 1〜3 part first,and then glue each part to the base in number order, 1 to 1. 火口の前面も図のように付け合わせる。 Assemble front wall part of crater accordingly. 続いて2の番号のついた「火口の部品」を組立てていく。 火口の中心の切り口の指示に沿ってカッター等で切り込みを入れ、そこに中央の小山ののりしろを差しこみ、裏側でのり付けする。 Crater assembly ; make slits on crater with cutter knife etc, insert tabs of center of glacier, and then glue tabs to the backside. 出来上がった火口を台紙に貼付け、3の氷山も貼り、底面の出来上がり。 Assemble complete crater and ice capped mountain 3 to the base. Base assembly is complete. 次にマシーン（幽霊製造機）とアトムのパーツを組立てる。 細かいパーツ等を固定する「支え」の部品は、小さいので注意深く組立て、写真のように固定する。 Robot Machine and Astro Boy assembly ; Small parts with its small supports shall be assembled as shown with precise care. 胴体の脚の付け根の指示に沿って切り込みを入れ、マシーンの脚ののりしろを差し込み、写真のように裏でのり付けする（両脚とも）。 Make slits on the body, as indicated, with cutter knife etc,insert tabs of Machine legs, and glue them to the backside as shown. アトムと壊れた腕を7Bの小さな支えで固定する。 指示どおりにマシーン胴体に切り込みを入れ、そこにアトムの手の先ののりしろを差し込み、裏側でのり付けする。アトムとマシーンのパーツの出来上がり。 Assemle Astro Boy and broken arm 7B with small support. Make slits on the body, as indicated, by cutter knife etc, insert tabs of Astro Boy hands to these slits and glue tothe backside. Astro Boy and Machine part are complete. アトムと壊れた腕を7Bの小さな支えで固定する。 指示どおりにマシーン胴体に切り込みを入れ、そこにアトムの手の先ののりしろを差し込み、裏側でのり付けする。アトムとマシーンのパーツの出来上がり。 Assemle Astro Boy and broken arm 7B with small support. Make slits on the body, as indicated, by cutter knife etc, insert tabs of Astro Boy hands to these slits and glue tothe backside. Astro Boy and Machine part are complete. 出来上がった底面、アトムとマシーンを側面に貼付けて行く。同様に16 1/3の煙、15の壊れた脚も貼付ける。 Assemble complete base, Astro Boy & Machine to side panels. The same for other parts ; smog 16 1/3and broken leg 15. アトムのパーツを側面に貼付けると、お腹が少し前方にそりだす感じになります。 When Astro Boy is assembled, his torso should be curved forward slightly for dynamic posture. Glue back panel accordingly. 天面を貼り合わせたら、写真のようにマシーンの脚も貼付ける（のりしろの方向を間違えないように）。 前面フレームを付けて出来上がり。 Glue top panel. Make sure that Machine leg is glued to the top panel as shown. Glue front frame to complete. Secret のお勧めポジション。あとは自由に遊びましょう。 Here's suggested position for“secret”part. You may place it wherever you like, of course.
